The EBITDA Growth Systems team was thrilled to welcome machine shop owners and operators from around the country to our signature event, the “Double Your Value” Business Planning Summit, held November 9 & 10 in our hometown of Golden, Colorado.
This year’s event featured Dave and Mike leading the group through an in-depth, hands-on business planning process along with rich insights from industry experts including perspectives on everything from human resources, lead generation, quoting new business, quality assurance, machine utilization, employee retention, equipment financing, succession planning, and more.
Participants not only learned a ton about the business planning process from Dave, Mike, and our group of guest speakers, they also were able to share their own unique challenges, opportunities, and perspectives with their peers in the classroom setting, over meals and breaks, and during our networking functions. Moreover, each attendee was able to work on their company’s plan using their own financials to help with real-world modeling based on their unique business, not just hypothetical scenarios requiring additional time and energy to finalize.
Held at the American Mountaineering Center in historic downtown Golden, the summit itself—along with the Thursday happy hour mixer at the Golden Hotel and the Friday networking reception at our offices—were all within a short walk of each other.
