Michael Watkins is a Principal at EBITDA Growth Systems and the author of the book, Scaling to Exit. Michael’s personal mission is to help organizations transform themselves into growing, profitable companies. His expertise is the result of more than 30 years in senior executive roles in a variety of settings from publicly traded companies to technology start-ups. Those experiences created in him a passion for lower mid-market sized businesses and the unique challenges that they face on a daily basis.
Over time, he discovered that his client companies receive the best value and impact when his resources come along-side them, roll up their sleeves, and join them in trenches. This radically different approach to management consulting—which substitutes advice and counsel with hands-on training, coaching, and development—is the foundation for our approach.
Michael’s formal education includes: Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland School of Law; Masters of Business Administration, Finance from Hood College; and Bachelors of Arts, English from the University of Rochester. He is also a member of the Pennsylvania State Bar.
Dave Capkovitz is a family man, as well as a Principal at EBITDA Growth Systems, and a scaling small business owner. He is a passionate business leader driven to help organizations grow in sales, profitability, teamwork, accountability, and efficiency. His expertise is the result of more than 25 years in senior executive roles in a variety of settings from start-ups to world-class medical device companies.
Dave has extensive experience in manufacturing and business management. He started out as a tool and die maker in 1996 and went on to found eight start-up manufacturing and service companies with four successful exits to date. When it comes to growing businesses, he has a successful track record achieving growth rates from 90% – 300% in 12 to 60 months.
